The Scopes
Bluepacket's BPM730 and BPM730S are Bluetooth modules featuring Human Interface Device (HID) support. They are both based on Broadcom BCM20730 Bluetooth chipset, the modules integrated with PCB antennas, serial EEPROMs, crystals and components for built-in switching regulators to reduce external BOM costs.
The BPM730/BPM730S Bluetooth modules integrates the entire profiles, applications, and Bluetooth protocol stacks. They are fully compliant with the Bluetooth SIG specifications for HID (Human Interface Device) products. They are fully compliant with Bluetooth v3.0 specification including enhanced power control (Unicast Connectionless Data), which is essentially applied to mouse and keyboard applications of personal computers.
By integrating major components within today's mice and keyboard, the BPM730 and BPM730S can interface directly to optical mice, ball encoders and keyboard scan matrixes which help reducing BOM costs in manufacturing those PC peripherals.
The BPM730/BPM730S provides superior performance in the presence of interference from 802.11 (Wi-Fi) wireless devices and other 2.4GHz radios. They are both built-in with an internal EEPROM for customized OEM/ODM specific parameters and settings can be easily loaded into these modules.
Both of BPM730 & BPM730S are both surface mount PCB modules with on-board antennas built-in. BPM730 is with regular PCB size and BPM730S is with a slim PCB design to better fit into your compact devices.
We also provide Evaluation KIT, BPM730-EK, for your evaluation & test use before designing our module product into your circuitry.
